of the IE&M Alumni web site are accessible only for alumni who have
registered, including the Online Directory and Alumni Quotes. Other
areas of the Alumni web site are open to the general public.
Please note the following items regarding personal privacy as it
pertains to the Alumni web site:
1.
Professional and personal information you provide is password
protected and only available to registered users (those alumni who
have taken the step of registering with the system); it is not openly
available to the public or even to all alumni. You may choose to keep
your information private from other users if you prefer, yet still
access the sections of the web site requiring registration.
2.
The Online Directory is for official use by IE&M, as well as for
individual communication of a personal nature between members. Use of
the information available in this directory for any other purpose,

system by any means, electronic or mechanical, photocopying or using
the addresses or other information contained in this directory for any
private, commercial or political mailing, is strictly prohibited and
is in direct violation of copyright laws and constitutes
misappropriation of corporate property.
3. When you register for the Alumni web
site and provide addresses, those addresses are recorded. They may be
used for sending out future mailings via regular mail or E-mail (event
announcements and so forth). E-mail addresses of registered users
will never knowingly be disclosed to non-University affiliated or
University-approved third parties.
In
addition to privacy issues, you may be interested in issues of
inappropriate usage, copyright restrictions, and so forth.
